...her expression reveals a complex mixture of "emotions" that characterize the primordial intelligence of the aidi n'ailulli...she is at once guarded but trusting, relaxed but focused, secure but suspicious, indifferent but self-conscious. She was a true taidit n'ailullit! Rarefied, noble, sublime. I was lucky she was in my life for as long as she was...al hamdullilah.
Azawakh do not look out at the world. They see the world looking at them and this self-awareness is part of what makes them so fascinating to me.
