Tombouktou's V'Akami...
...Akhami, bred by Gabriele Meissen and owned by Jana Vbracka in the Czech Republic, is one of my favorite taidit Gabriele has bred. Her dam is Taletmot Idiiyat-es-Sahel (Kusaylah X Taytok), from the first litter Gabriele and I "co-bred". Akhami's sire is Tombouktou's P'Aytarel. Aytarel (also owned by Jana Vbracka) is sired by Ennehet Al-Ifriqiya (Takoba Al-Ifriqiya X Hatshepsut), owned by my dear friends Franz and Doris Widmer in Switzerland (see links for their websites in my links list...they are artists). For me, Akhami represents a classic blending of the foundation European Azawakh lines with the more recently imported Sahelian-bred idi.
