Marya leaves today with her puppy (haansii k'nai in Djerma) Ailymas (Aslam X Semteende) and her taidit (Tamasheq for female dog). The two haansii/taidit are Tadawelt (Kaisoon X Imouyene) and the desert bred Chomeissa/Shemaysah (Tamasheq for Arabic "Khamsa", or "five", a talismanic symbol of the five fingers of the hand of Fatima, daughter of ar-Rasool, peace be upon him).

Looks like a peaceful morning. The flooding seems to have hardened your floor somewhat. From the inside--at least this angle--the house looks intact.
