Lao Tzu

When all the world sees beauty as beauty,
This in itself is ugliness.
When all the world sees good as good,
This in itself is evil.

Being and non-being create each other.
Difficult and easy support each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low depend on each other.
Before and after follow each other.

Therefore,
Act without doing,
Teach without speaking.
Things arise--let them come;
Things disappear--let them go.
Hold without possessing,
Act without expecting.
When your work is done, forget it:
Forgotten, it will last forever.
