A blog about preservationist breeding of Azawakh, one of the world's last remaining canine landraces...
a paternal grand-son of Kusaylah...
...out of Dari (Dari was bred by Ricardo Wille in Mexico. Dari was owned at the time she was bred by Gaby Valdez Valdez of Columbia, South America, but lives now in Virginia with ? (Brian, help me out here...). Dari was bred to Tombouktou's Qulood [Kusaylah X Tombouktou's Nahalet...bred by Gabriele Meissen in Germany]). Azelouan is owned by Brian Reiter in DC. He also owns Tawzalt Idiiyat-es-Sahel, a seven month old puppy out of Semteede sired by Aslam. I retained two brothers and a sister of Tawzalt for breeding, Insh'Allah.

Dari lives in Washington, DC about 2.5 miles from my house. She is owned by Martha Wilcox and John Gale.
Incidentally, the reason Azelouan is wearing a yellow shirt is that he was running at an AKC lure coursing.
