add '-gatherer' to hunter and you get...
...Iferouane! (owned by Mimi Cary Drake in CA). I asked Mimi about Mr. Lincoln...apparently it was the cover of the new issue of History Magazine. Unread. Just out of the mailbox.
Very familiar to me, as well. Although if it was Tafraoute, she would have the things all piled around, then be on her back looking impossibly innocent and cute, therefore making it clear that she did NOT cause that mess. Naughty little Azawakh!
Well...There are several windows of perception, and I probably am looking out a different window...so what is new, nothing...but! I tend not to anthropomorphize, so I saw neither innocence nor naughtiness. I saw a little taidit, earnestly gathering her booty from far and near (as far as 400 yds from the house - that shirt was from the lower barn). She proudly guarded her collection, presenting her working trait of heritage. She played with the magazine, as puppies do.
Iférouane was just being...a little taidit. The rest - "innocence, destruction, cute, mess, naughty..." that's human. And that she is not. I'm glad we are all enjoying her, in our own ways. I might have been a taidit in another life, but they tell me, no, I was a cat. So meow for now...

That scene with the puppy looking innocently on over its pile of destruction looks very familiar.
